Danilo Picolo Sierra Ombudsman Danilo Picolo is 70 years old and is married with 2 children. His main interest out of the office is focused on Deep Sea Fishing, Big Game Hunting and Painting. Danilo Picolo originally joined Sonae Group in 1984 as Operations Manager of Modelo Supermarkets. After several functions in Sonae Distribuição he moved to Sonae Comércio e Serviços in 1990 as New Projects Manager. After a short period in the Executive Committee of Sonae Biotecnologia he was appointed in 1992 as General Manager of property management area of Sonae Sierra. In 1995 he become Commercial Manager of the Centro Colombo project and in 1997, when the Shopping Centre was inaugurated, he assumed the property management of the Centre. From 1999 till April 2007 he assumed functions as Board Assessor and Senior Consultant in Sonae Sierra. Since August 2007 he is the Sierra Ombudsman.
