Commercial Director for Europe & Emerging Markets at Sonae Sierra, responsible for driving business growth and expanding the company’s integrated real estate solutions across key European and international markets.

With more than 20 years of experience in the real estate sector, Marta was previously Head of Investor Relations at Norfin, a leading Portuguese investment manager with over €1.5 billion in assets under management. In this role, she oversaw the management of 10 real estate investment vehicles, totalling €350 million, and was responsible for investor reporting and the corporate ESG strategy. Before joining Norfin, she spent 16 years at Cushman & Wakefield in Portugal and Spain, where she held several positions, including Head of Business Development, leading the implementation of the key and target clients program and driving cross-selling initiatives across service lines. Earlier, as Head of Research for Portugal and Spain, she provided consultancy services and market insights for major real estate players  work that earned multiple Euromoney Real Estate Awards for Best Research in Portugal since 2006.
